The past few days have been filled with sun, warm breezes and good company. Therefore, I have been MIA, yet again, my deepest apologizes!
The end of the spring semester (I only have 4 semester left...what?!) is quickly approaching so the pressure is on and I'm trying to knock all my work out as soon as possible. Also, since I am moving to another flat within the next month, I am trying to keep the stress down.
With the flowers blooming and weather, it's becoming increasingly harder to do so because there are one too many temptations just drop it all and head to the beer garden or the park with my girls. Nothing beats Czech beer either, so the temptation is unbelievable. I keep telling myself to get my work done, study for my finals then I can enjoy Czech beer while walking across Charles Bridge and attempt to tan my extremely pale skin...pretty sure I could blind someone at this point in time...
For my fashion internship with CollegeFashionista, I have been busy typing away various articles on the adorable spring wardrobes of students around campus. My recent articles have inspired me to share a cute look with the ladies who read Traveling with Wanderlust. This season I am loving skater skirts, studded/spiked sandals and graphic tees. I need to get back home to America for the summer so I can stock up at Forever 21!
I am going to work on the last part of the Italy post this evening then I will write a post (the following day), that is somewhat personal, about how I discovered my passion for writing. I love sharing this story with others and actually wrote a book on it that I sent to publishers...still waiting to hear back from several. So, you will get to read a little about me- a break from daily travel posts.

CARPELS TUNNEL
Wahh, my carpels tunnel is getting worse. It all started several years ago when I was working in a restaurant, polishing silverware for hours and hours on end. Now, being a college student where all my notes are taken on the computer, working in a communications office and writing travel blogs...my hands and wrists are tired of it all!
On the bright side, I might be having an interview with InStyle and (hopefully) Elle Magazine here in Czech Republic. One of my dreams can still be achieved in Europe, in a country that does not have the primary language English. My friend is also doing it and informed me about it, so I jumped on it. I am really really super excited and crossing my fingers...along with next week's meeting with the editor-in-chief of the travel magazine to see where Traveling with Wanderlust will go :)
Excitement for one, excitement for all! Again, fingers crossed!
Look for tomorrow's post on Argentina, South America and a mention at what the following day's post will be.

CZECH RADIO VISIT
Tomorrow morning, instead of having a mid-term like the rest of my friends, I get to go to Czech Radio for interviews, a tour of the studio and information on a Czech radio station. I'm hoping to make a profile story of the editor-in-chief or at least one of the main figures at the station. Anytime we go on a field trip to some journalism or communications-focused place I get really excited because I know that one day I will be working in a similar place so I get a little taste of what to expect.
I've always wanted to intern or even work part-time at a radio station during college just to get some wider sense of experience in the journalism field. So, if tomorrow goes well and I like the station, maybe I'll send in my CV to see if I could get a job or at least an internship.
After my radio visit and mid-term, I will post another one of those random posts about something that interests me, not related to traveling! Until, then it's back to work and night of studying and coffee.
Ciao and travel on wanderlusters!

MAGAZINE NEWS!
Listen of the night/day: Just One Last Time by David Guetta ft. Taped Rai...you know I actually had the opportunity to possibly see David Guetta in concert when I was in Rome a month ago. I should have gone, I would love to experience another concert like Swedish House Mafia.
So, my internship emailed me some pretty exciting news tonight that made me get all excited and squeal-y in class tonight. My internship is teaming up with Vanity Fair, you know that super famous women's magazine, and for their 100 Best Dressed issue, they are letting us submit our own street style photos to be considered for the magazine! I will most definitely be taking part in that because I mean how cool would it be to be featured in VANITY FAIR?!
Off to sleep and dream about a nice, warm vacation. Travel on!
P.S. since today was somewhat of an inspiration Tuesday...I should share one of my favorite posts from one of my favorite fashion bloggers, Chiara Ferragni. It's an awesome post that I read over and over again whenever I'm in need of some inspiration. Here it is: http://www.theblondesalad.com/2012/05/show-your-potential.html

The Email That Changed My Spring Semester
So, while sitting in a coffee shop this evening, having our first official "business" meeting and organizing the blog/website/clothing line...I check my email, mid-sip from the holy grail (the coffee is heaven and in a grail shaped cup)...and what did I receive?
A big, wonderful, CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations what though? Congratulations I'm pregnant? Congratulations you looked like a smelly mess today? Congratulations there's a llama farm in the middle of Prague with your name as the title? No no no silly. Congratulations because I got the fashion internship I was crossing my fingers for about two months for!
I did a loud wiggle in my seat, accompanied with some squealing which caused the really confused stares, which then was followed by some fist-punching in the air. Yes, Jersey Shore style...
The website is called CollegeFashionista and it's fantastic. For students who are in college and love fashion instead of just going to class in stinky, wrinkly PJ's and sweats. The website is for students in colleges all across the United States and even internationally. I discovered the site when looking through blogs and was really hooked. I then wondered if my school, in Prague, was featured...it wasn't. So, I was ballsy and decided to email the founder and suggest Prague be included. I received an email back saying I should fill out and application and give them a sample of what I got (photos and writing).
A month later, I get the acceptance email. I am so so thrilled to be part of the CollegeFashionista family and start the Prague universities' page. This is also pretty exciting for my business partner and I because we are hoping that some of the students in our university will begin wearing our DIY clothing line so it will promote our new DIY community and clothing line. So many fantastic opportunities, I am more than grateful for them.
If you haven't checked the site out, you most definitely should. Pretty inspiring!
