A NEW PROJECT

I'm thinking of starting a fun, new posting project.

After I post about some of my trips in the past. I think I will start posting about random countries in the world. Just basic facts, travel opinions and suggestions for these countries. Small, big, rich, poor, first world, third world, hot, cold, popular, unheard of. I want to travel to a majority of the world's countries one day so why not get some background knowledge on them and inform my wanderlusters as well?

Of course, when I travel to these countries, I will do a short recap of the informative post then the post about my visit, experience and reviews while being there. Me thinks the first country should be, hmm...Seychelles? Have you heard of Seychelles before? I actually met a lovely new friend of mine who is from there. To be honest, I have never heard of it before she told me she was from there. It's one of those small islands you wouldn't think of just randomly going to. So, Seychelles will be the first country of the new project. Now to do some research...and find some travel inspired pictures.

BOOK BLISS

I've always been an advocate to book writing. Hell, I even wrote one and sent it to some publishers. I haven't been home in several months so I don't know whether or not I received any letters. When I did come home for winter break, I had a letter from a major publisher thanking me for my submission but declining because it wasn't what they were looking for at the moment. I didn't let that get me down though, I saw it as motivation to continue pushing to get it published or just start a new one and start fresh with that. So, that's what I did. I'm writing another book, this one being a fiction novel. I won't tell you what it's about but I'll tell you the title: The Guiders.

Let your imagination roam free. Or just wait until it's on shelves in the future :) Positivity is key in trying to get your writing name out there right?

Tomorrow, I will post about my Alaska trip two summers ago. I love that place. It was my second time being there but it never gets old. Such a beautiful state with incredible nature and energy. I'm excited about this post! Bring on Thursday morning!

TEST DAY TUESDAY

Here is another completely unrelated post to travel...I love interior designing! Before I wanted to be a writer, I was seriously considering becoming an interior designer. I mean I played Sims a majority of my childhood, so I was obviously skilled in decorating houses, right? These are all compliments to Pinterest, where I spend a better half of my free time at work on, oogling and planning how our new flat will look like. While I should be studying or going to the gym right now, I'm just relaxing here looking at these fabulous photos:

So, just some of the many photos I love. For more, you can go to my Pinterest board. I'm dreaming of Thailand and Bali today, hopefully, if I save enough money up, I can make a trip there by the end of this year or early next year. Tomorrow's post will be the places I have traveled to starting from the ripe age of 6 months. In coming posts, I'll write and post pictures from some of my most significant trips. P.S. my horoscope today is so accurate, crazy how these things can be sometimes, right?--"It's a great day for you to reorganize your life -- whether it needs it or not! Your mental energy is just right for getting yourself back on track, and you may find the next few months go by easier as a result."

P.S.S. I have just applied for a travel blogging internship meaning that my blog would be featured in a European (English) travel magazine! Fingers crossed!
